Culver Announces Dates for Veteran Breakfasts in November
SUNBURY – In an effort to recognize area veterans who have served our country in the armed forces, Rep. Lynda Schlegel Culver (R-Northumberland/Snyder) will host two Veterans Breakfasts in their honor.

Veterans can choose between attending the breakfast being held on Monday, Nov. 4, at 8 a.m., at the Front St. Station, located at 2 Front St., Northumberland; or the one being held on Wednesday, Nov. 6, at 8 a.m., at the Watson Inn, located at 100 Main St., Watsontown.

“With Veterans Day being only a couple weeks away, I am looking forward to hosting these events to meet with area veterans and thank them for their service,” said Culver. “I always look forward to talking with groups of veterans because they are some of the most selfless, skillful and patriotic residents. They served our country and protected our freedoms, and for that I will be eternally grateful. They deserved to be thanked every day.”

Culver asks those attending to RSVP to her district office in Sunbury to ensure there are enough seats at each breakfast.

Culver will be distributing Veterans’ Coupon Books to attendees that will include special offers and programs being offered especially for veterans by many local businesses.

For information on these veterans breakfasts, or any other state-related issue, contact Culver’s district office, located at 106 Arch St., Sunbury, by calling 570-286-5885. Information on all legislative outreach events can be found on and
