Culver and Masser to Hold Mini Sportsmen’s Expo at Montour-Delong Community Fair

ELYSBURG – Rep. Kurt Masser (R-Columbia/Montour/Northumberland) and Rep. Lynda Schlegel Culver (R-Northumberland/Snyder) will be hosting a Mini Sportsmen’s Expo for residents living in the 107th and 108th Legislative Districts on Thursday, May 16, at the Montour Delong Community Fair, in Washingtonville.

The doors will be open to the public at 5:30 p.m., and presentations from the Pennsylvania Game Commission, Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, National Wild Turkey Federation, and Pennsylvania game and fish wardens, will run from 5:30-8 p.m. There is no admission charge for the expo, and door prizes will be available.

“Outdoor sporting events are very popular in our area – hunting and fishing are two of the biggest, but certainly there are several activities folks in our area like to participate in,” said Masser. “Events like this expo are important because our area sportsmen and women can come out and learn about the educational and safety resources that are available to them in right in our backyard.”

“This type of forum provides our area sportsmen and women with a one-stop-shop for gathering information to learn about programs offered by the state, and other local organizations, all relating to a wide array of outdoor sporting activities,” said Culver.
