Concealed Carry Seminar Scheduled for March 31, Culver Says
SUNBURY – In an effort to educate the public about Pennsylvania’s firearms laws, Rep. Lynda Schlegel Culver (R-Northumberland/Snyder) will host a Concealed Carry Seminar on Thursday, March 31, from 6-8 p.m. This event will be held at the Sunbury Social Club, located at 352 East Drive, Sunbury.

“It’s extremely important for citizens to know their rights and how to appropriately carry a concealed firearm,” Culver said. “This is an informational seminar, and I hope that those with an interest in the subject will attend.”

The seminar will feature Pennsylvania State Trooper Rick Blair, Jason Kelley from the Pennsylvania Game Commission, Northumberland County District Attorney Tony Matulewicz, Snyder County District Attorney Michael Piecuch, Northumberland County Sheriff Robert Wolfe and Snyder County Sheriff John Zechman.

Information about Pennsylvania’s laws related to concealed carry, how to obtain a permit in Northumberland and Snyder counties, how to interact with police when carrying a concealed firearm and the Pennsylvania Game Commission when hunting with a concealed firearm will be covered. There will be a question-and-answer period following the seminar.

There is no fee to attend. However, space is limited and residents are required to reserve a seat in advance. To RSVP, contact Culver’s district office by calling 570-286-5885 or 1-800-924-9060.
