Culver to Honor Veterans at Event on Nov. 10
10/14/2015
SUNBURY – To recognize those who have served our country in the armed forces, Rep. Lynda Schlegel Culver (R-Northumberland/Snyder) will host a Veterans Appreciation Breakfast on Tuesday, Nov. 10, at the Front Street Station, located at 2 Front St. in Northumberland at 9 a.m.

“I look forward to this event every year because I enjoy talking with our area veterans about the state issues that mean the most to them,” Culver said. “These men and women are our hometown heroes and they deserve to be thanked and recognized for their service.”

State Sen. John Gordner (R-27) will be the guest speaker at this year’s event. Special music will be provided by the Milton Area High School Acapella Group.

Any veteran living in the 108th District is invited to attend this breakfast. Culver asks those planning to attend to RSVP by calling her district office toll-free at 1-800-924-9060, by Friday, Oct. 30.
