Culver Invites Residents to Senior Expo on July 31 in Sunbury
HARRISBURG – Rep. Lynda Schlegel Culver (R-Northumberland/Snyder) announced she will host her annual Senior Expo on Friday, July 31, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Shikellamy High School cafeteria, located at 600 Walnut St., in Sunbury. Residents living in the 108th District ages 55 and older, and caregivers, are invited to attend the expo.

“This expo provides area seniors with a one-stop-shop for information about the many programs and services available to them in our area,” Culver said. “Sometimes it can be challenging to track down all the necessary information needed to get in contact with all these agencies and businesses that exist solely to help this demographic.”

Nearly 50 vendors from county, state and federal agencies, as well as local businesses and services, are expected to attend this year’s expo. A full list of vendors will be available on

Seniors will also be able to take advantage of the following free screenings: strength, cholesterol, stroke, video otoscope, ankle brachial index, as well as back assessments and blood glucose checks.

RSVP is not required, and there is no admission fee to attend this event. Light refreshments and door prizes will be available.
