Town Hall Meeting and Outreach Hours Scheduled, Culver Says
SUNBURY – Rep. Lynda Schlegel Culver (R-Northumberland/Snyder) is inviting residents of the 108th Legislative District to a town hall meeting in Northumberland and outreach hours in Lower Augusta Township. In addition, seniors are invited for an outreach event at the Sunbury Senior Action Center.

The outreach hours are scheduled for Monday, Aug. 25, from 4-6 p.m., at the Lower Augusta Township Building, located at 609 Hallowing Run Road in Sunbury.

Culver is also hosting a town hall meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 26, from 6-7 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Northumberland Borough Building, located at 175 Orange Street.

Services that Culver and her staff can provide at both of these meetings include:

• Assistance with PennDOT paperwork (lost cards, changes, corrections, special registration plates, vanity plates, and temporary placards for disabled persons).
• Assistance with birth certificate applications.
• Checking on the status of unclaimed property.
• Driver’s license and vehicle registration applications and renewals.
• Information about state legislation.
• PACE and PACENET applications for seniors.
• Pennsylvania Property Tax/Rent Rebate forms.
• Referrals to agencies to resolve state-related matters.
• Any other state-related issues with which residents may need assistance.

Also next week, Culver will visit area seniors on Thursday, Aug. 28, at the Sunbury Senior Action Center from noon to 1 p.m.
