Mini Sportsmen’s Expo Scheduled for March 27 in Sunbury
HARRISBURG – Rep. Lynda Schlegel Culver (R-Northumberland/Snyder) and Rep. Kurt Masser (R-Columbia/Montour/Northumberland) have announced they will jointly host a Mini Sportsmen’s Expo on Thursday, March 27, from 5-8 p.m., at Chief Shikellamy Elementary School, 338 Memorial Drive, in Sunbury.

“With the glimpse of spring weather our area has experienced this week, I am sure that many folks are looking to make plans to get out and fish, hunt and enjoy the great outdoors,” said Culver. “This expo will have plenty of information on local outdoor resources that are available right here in our area.”

More than 20 area exhibitors are expected to be at this event. Presentations by the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Bureau of Forestry, Fish and Boat Commission, Game Commission, and National Wild Turkey Federation are scheduled to occur throughout the expo.

“Since there are so many folks in both of the areas that Representative Culver and I represent who are interested in sporting and outdoor issues, we decided to host last year’s event together at the Montour-Delong Fairgrounds, and then alternate locations every other year,” said Masser. “I am looking forward to another successful event, and I hope to see many of our area sportsmen and sportswomen at this year’s expo.”

Door prizes will be available at the expo. For more information on this year’s Mini Sportsmen’s Expo, or any state-related issue, contact Culver’s Sunbury district office at 570-286-5885 or, or Masser’s district office in Elysburg at 570-648-8017, or at
