(HARRISBURG) – Today, approximately 100 Boy Scouts and leaders from across the Commonwealth gathered at the state Capitol Building to mark the first annual Boy Scout Day at the Capitol.

WHAT: In an effort to honor area Vietnam War-era veterans, Reps. Lynda Schlegel Culver (R-Northumberland/Snyder) and Fred Keller (R-Snyder/Union), along with the office of U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey, are hosting a ceremony to commemorate National Vietnam Veterans Day this Wednesday. Veterans from the Greater Susquehanna Valley area are invited to attend and be honored at this event. Veterans who served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces at any time between Nov. 1, 1955, and May 15, 1975, regardless of station location, will be eligible to receive a lapel pin at this ceremony. Family members are invited to attend the ceremony with veterans.
