– Rep. Lynda Culver (R-Northumberland/Snyder) will be hosting a Concealed Carry Seminar on Monday, March 4, at 6 p.m., at the Freeburg-Washington Community Center, located at 11 E. Church St., Freeburg
This seminar is geared toward residents who are considering applying for a concealed carry permit or those who already have one and need a clearer understanding of laws concerning self-defense.
“I feel it is important for residents to have the opportunity to hear directly from law enforcement members who are knowledgeable and enforce the laws concerning concealed carry,” said Culver. “Snyder County District Attorney Mike Piecuch will be there to provide information about Pennsylvania’s concealed carry laws, and Snyder County Sheriff John Zechman, along with State Trooper Rick Blair, Snyder County Game Warden Harold Malehorn and Waterways Conservation Officer Jacob Bennett, will be present to discuss state firearms laws and best practices for safely concealed carrying.”
There will be an opportunity for residents to ask the panel questions after their presentations.
These seminars usually fill up fast so RSVPs are required to register. Residents should call Culver’s district office at 570-286-5885, toll free at 1-800-924-9060 or register online at RepCulver.com.
