HARRISBURG – Rep. Lynda Schlegel Culver (R- Northumberland/Snyder) announced today that homeowners, renters and businesses impacted by recent storms in Northumberland and Snyder counties may be eligible for low-interest disaster loans through the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Disaster Loan Program.
HARRISBURG – To help schools better afford equipment, personnel and resources to make their facilities safer, Reps. Lynda Schlegel Culver (R-Northumberland/Snyder), Fred Keller (R-Snyder/Union) and Kurt Masser (R-Columbia/Montour/Northumberland) today announced more than $330,788 in state grant funding.
SUNBURY – Residents ages 55 and older and their caregivers in the 108th District are invited to attend Rep. Lynda Schlegel Culver’s (R-Northumberland/Snyder) 8th Annual Senior Expo sponsored by UPMC Susquehanna Sunbury. The expo will be held on Thursday, July 19, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Shikellamy High School Cafeteria. The high school is located at 600 Walnut St. in Sunbury.
HARRISBURG – On Wednesday, the House approved the state budget plan for 2018-19, and Rep. Lynda Schlegel Culver (R-Northumberland/Snyder) voted in favor of the measure. The plan prioritizes education, public safety and fiscal responsibility. After the vote, Culver made the following statement:

(HARRISBURG) – Today, approximately 100 Boy Scouts and leaders from across the Commonwealth gathered at the state Capitol Building to mark the first annual Boy Scout Day at the Capitol.
WHAT: Rep. Lynda Schlegel Culver (R-Northumberland/Snyder) and Sen. John Gordner (R-27) recently announced that the Boy Scouts of America will be holding its first-ever annual Boy Scout Day at the state Capitol on May 1. The purpose of the event is for the Scouts to present a report on the current state of Scouting in the Commonwealth to the governor and members of the state House and Senate.
WHAT: In an effort to honor area Vietnam War-era veterans, Reps. Lynda Schlegel Culver (R-Northumberland/Snyder) and Fred Keller (R-Snyder/Union), along with the office of U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey, are hosting a ceremony to commemorate National Vietnam Veterans Day this Wednesday. Veterans from the Greater Susquehanna Valley area are invited to attend and be honored at this event. Veterans who served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces at any time between Nov. 1, 1955, and May 15, 1975, regardless of station location, will be eligible to receive a lapel pin at this ceremony. Family members are invited to attend the ceremony with veterans.

Event to focus on opportunities and challenges for Pennsylvania agriculture
HARRISBURG – Rep. Lynda Schlegel Culver (R-Northumberland/Snyder) made the following statement after the governor presented his budget address for the 2018-19 fiscal year on Tuesday:
SUNBURY – Rep. Lynda Schlegel Culver (R-Northumberland/Snyder) is inviting those involved with the agriculture industry in the 108th District to attend her annual Farmers Breakfast. This year’s event will be held on Thursday, Feb. 22, at 9 a.m., at the Christ Community United Methodist Church, located at 3939 Park Road in Selinsgrove.
SUNBURY – The Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) approved the city of Sunbury’s $423,677 funding request through the state’s Flood Mitigation Program, to repair and replace the flood wall along Sunbury’s waterfront.
SUNBURY – To recognize those living in the 108th District who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces, Rep. Lynda Schlegel Culver (R-Northumberland/Snyder) will host a Veterans Appreciation Breakfast on Thursday, Nov. 9, at 9 a.m., at the Watson Inn, located at 100 Main St. in Watsontown.
